Shanti Grönholm, BA Hons.
Shanti Grönholm is a dancer and education enthusiast from Finlad. She graduated from Åbo Akademi University with a BA (Hons) in contemporary religion and education. Education and the correlation between arts have always interested Shanti the most. The biggest question she is working on is how to combine the basic art education with the public schools. She now studies for her Masters degree in education and construction engineering. She is working as a dance teacher and digital admin at Hurja Piruetti. Supervisor for this project.
Reettaleena Rauhala, BA Hons. Reettaleena Rauhala is a dance artist and movement explorer from Finland. She graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (London, UK) with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance in 2016, and has since been working as a teacher, choreographer and freelance dance artist. In movement, Reettaleena is interested in the use of gravity and breath as ways to initiate, ease and power movement. Currently she is undertaking Master’s degree studies in Dance Pedagogy at the University of Arts Helsinki. |
Janna Westerlund, BA. Janna Westerlund is a Finnish dance teacher. She studied dance pedagogy in the Arts Academy in Turku University of Applied Sciences (Turku, Finland) and holds a Bachelor of Culture and Arts degree. She is interested in European and international dance cultures and has done a part of her studies in Sweden in Stockholm University of the Arts and in Iceland in Listaskóli Rögnvaldar Ólafssonar. She has travelled in five continents and finds meeting and collaborating with people from different cultures a constant inspiration as well as a learning opportunity. Her other interests are in finding contemporary approaches to dance pedagogy with respect for the long traditions as well as body awareness and safe dance training. |
